Honoring - Ted Lippman

Honoring - Ted Lippman

Ted Lippman has been a driving force in the Atlantic City culinary and wine communities for decades, making a profound impact through his support of Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) and its culinary program.  Through Ted Lippman’s tireless efforts, the funds raised for Atlantic Cape Community College have exceeded $150,000 to date, directly supporting scholarships and opportunities for aspiring culinary students.

As South Jersey Wine Manager for Fedway Associates, New Jersey’s premier wholesale distributor, his efforts have elevated major culinary fundraisers like the annual Restaurant Gala, where he was on the committee when it began and helped to enlist the support of sponsors, restaurants and wine professionals to help create an unforgettable experience.

As an officer and then Bailli for twenty-three years of the local chapter of the Chaine des Rotisseurs, the world’s oldest and largest food and wine society, Ted started a fundraiser event in 1996 in the kitchens of the Culinary School for student scholarships, and this event continues today.

His work has helped shape the careers of countless aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals, making him a pillar of the local food and wine community.  Honoring him with the inaugural Champion of Culinary Excellence Award not only recognizes his years of commitment but also sets the standard for future recipients who, like Lippman, have made lasting contributions to our area.
