About the Event

Le Beaujolais Nouveau est de retour !

For 24 years, the Atlantic City Bailliage of the Chaine des Rotisseurs has partnered with the Academy of Culinary Arts for a scholarship fundraiser for students at the Academy of Culinary Arts. The Chaine will award 4 scholarships  to 4 culinary and hospitality students.  Since the first event, over $115,000 has been raised and it continues to be a huge help for some of the students, who, without this support, would not be able to continue their education. 

Formerly, the theme of this reception was the celebration of the annual release of the Beaujolais Nouveau on the 3rd Thursday of November.  For nostalgia, we are still holding the event on the annual release date and we will have Beaujolais Nouveau available along with a selection of 5 other wines. 

The evening begins with a display of all the wines available just outside the first floor kitchen with passed hors d'oeuvres.   Then we go upstairs to experience the incredible menu created by ACA Director and Chef Joe Sheridan in 4 different kitchens all prepared and plated by the students.  After about an hour in the kitchens, there will be a presentation of the scholarships to the students, and then we move to the 4th kitchen and an elaborate dessert presentation - always the highlight of the evening.

This is the only Chaine event that is open to the public, and we appreciate their partnership. If you are unable to attend, please support this event with a donation to support these outstanding culinary and hospitality students.
