Blindfolded Wine Paring

2020 Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc.  100% Chardonnay from Napa and Sonoma, CA.  The Blanc de Blancs has captivating aromas of Granny Smith apple, tangerine and lemon-lime, complemented with layers of apple custard and apple tart.  Flavors of fresh grapefruit, white peach, and golden apple anchor the palate, which follows with hints of ginger and vanilla chiffon. This bottling’s finish is crisp, refreshing, and mouthwatering, in the long-established Schramsberg tradition.

2022 Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse. 100% Chardonnay from Mâconnais, Burgundy.  This wine has aromas of fresh red apples, honey and white flowers with elegant and rich flavors of toasted nuts and citrus. One of the purest expressions of this typical Burgundian grape.

2019 Domaine Doudet Savigny Les Beaune Dessus Les Vermots. 100% Pinot Noir from northern part of the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy.  The elegant aroma of wine is dominated by shades of red berries and blackberries. On the palate, it is dominated by velvety tannins, fresh shades of red berries and undergrowth.
